ELI
ELI is a dynamic interactive dyad, exploring and translating the musical possibilities inherent in intimate human contact. An array of sensors are fitted to a human form, captured and processed with a microcontroller and the Arduino IDE, and then routed and mapped to various musical parameters within Cycling ’74’s Max software
Tape-a-Tat
Tape-a-Tat is an electronic instrument that uses the analog squelches made by running a tape head over strips of magnetic tape and gating the audio into rapid-fire pulses. The speed of the pulses is controllable with a knob and a jumbo white LED flashes in time with the rate set by the player. The interface of the instrument is packaged in an attractive, repurposed Chutes & Ladders® game set.
